6.5.11. Shutdown Log¶
The EEM4 system has a log which tells the reason for the engine shutdown. The log is located in the eeprom, where 10 pcs of the latest shutdown reasons are stored. If the latest shutdown reason is same as the former, a new reason will not be written. Instead of a new reason, the former log counter is increased by 1. The maximum counter value is 255 pcs. After that a new log item with the same reason identifier will be introduced.
| Reason | Explanation |
|---|---|
| 0 | Ignition key off |
| 1 | Engine speed under shutdown limit (default 400 rpm) = Overload |
| 2 | Engine protection shutdown = Fault code (FC number is also shown) |
| 3 | Uncontrolled shutdown (Example: Power supply disconnected) |
| 4 | “Stop Engine” command over CAN (SAE J1939) or digital input (optional) |
| 5 | Engine protection shutdown (low level) |
| 6 | Control Stop command (optional) |
| 7 | “Stop Engine” command over CAN (KWP2000 service) |
