2.2.189. SPN 4332, FMI 12, SCR system: Emergency shutoff was performed due heating system error(s)ΒΆ

Description

The EEM4 monitoring system has detected error in SCR system heating concept. Due to heating error SCR system is shutted off.

Possible causes are:

  • The SCR heating system is defective

Reaction in EEM

The FC is stored and the warning lamp is activated. The CAN message indicates an active fault.

NOTE: The present fault is classified as an emission related fault. Engine power is reduced after a certain time which is defined by an authority.

Solution

First save the error log and then do the procedure that follows:

  • Look what other errors are active.
  • Examine the wiring of defective components based on active error codes.
