Description

The engine specification number does not match the EEM software specification number.

Possible causes are:

  • The engine software is defective.
  • The control unit is defective.

Reaction in EEM

The FC is stored and the warning lamp is activated. The CAN message indicates an active fault. Engine power and speed is reduced.

Solution

First save the error log and then do the procedure that follows:

  • Download a new software with the correct specification number to the engine, or activate the ECU.
