2.3.3. Oil pressure

Description

The combined pressure and temperature sensor measures the engine oil pressure and temperature. The sensor is an absolute pressure sensor.

ECU connection

The pin numbers at the ECU:

EDC17CV41+      2.31 5Vdc reference supply
EDC17CV41+      2.35 Analog input, Pressure
EDC17CV41+      2.06 Ground
EDC17CV41+      2.13 Analog input, Temperature

The pin numbers at the sensor:

Pin 2           Analog input, Pressure
Pin 3           5Vdc reference supply
Pin 4           Ground
Pin 5           Analog input, Temperature

Characteristics

Output voltage:

At 100 kPa abs (~atmospheric pressure) = 0.5 V
At 1100 kPa abs = 4.5 V

Nominal resistance (temperature):

At 20ºC = 2.5 k ohm
At 100ºC = 0.186 k ohm
