2.3.13. Oil level sensorΒΆ

Description

The oil level sensor is used to check engine oil level when ECU is powered. The oil level sensor is a capacitive sensor and it is located on the cold side of the engine.

ECU connection

The pin numbers at the ECU:

EDC17CV41+      2.84 Supply voltage
EDC17CV41+      1.43 Ground
EDC17CV41+      1.56 Analog input
EDC17CV41+      1.35 Low side digital input (if used)

The pin numbers at the sensor:

Pin A           Analog input
Pin B           Ground
Pin C           Supply voltage
Pin D           Low side digital input (if used)
