2.3.1. Camshaft speed

Description

The cam speed sensor measures the engine speed from the camshaft. The sensor is an inductive sensor which reads the trigger wheel and is mounted on the camshaft.

ECU connection

The pin numbers at the ECU:

EDC17CV41+      2.68 Trigger input
EDC17CV41+      2.67 Ground

The pin numbers at the sensor:

Pin 1           Trigger input
Pin 2           Ground
