2.2.327. SPN 520356, FMI 3, Pressure Control Valve: High side short circuit to HIGH SOURCEΒΆ
Description
The EEM monitoring system has detected a short circuit on the pressure control valve high side.
Possible causes are:
- The solenoid valve wiring is defective. (Shorted to battery.)
- The solenoid valve is defective.
Reaction in EEM
The FC is stored and the warning lamp is activated. The CAN message indicates an active fault.
Solution
First save the error log and then do the procedure that follows:
- Examine the pressure control valve wiring, the connectors and the contact surfaces of the connector pins (possible oxidation).
- Test the operation with another pressure control valve to see if valve is defective.
