2.2.320. SPN 520312, FMI 31, Rail Pressure control: Maximum time in limp home state is exceeded.ΒΆ

Description

The EEM4 system has detected a rail pressure fault and the system is in limp home mode. If the maximum allowed limp home mode time is exceeded, then an error is displayed.

Reaction in EEM

The FC is stored and the warning lamp is activated. The CAN message indicates an active fault.

Solution

First save the error log and then do the procedure that follows:

  • Repair fault codes related to rail pressure control or fuel high pressure components
  • Fault code can be cleared with an official service tool
