Description

The oil change interval has been exceeded.

  • The adaptive oil change interval calculation of the engine detects that the engine oil needs to be changed.

Reaction in EEM

The FC is stored and the warning lamp is activated. The CAN message indicates active fault.

Solution

First save the error log and then erase it. Restart the ECU after erasing the error log. If the fault occurs again during the next driving cycle, check the following paths:

  • Change the engine oil and the oil filter.
  • Reset the calculation and the fault code with the WinEEM4 service tool.
