3.2.362. SPN 520394, FMI 31, Master and slave parameters are different

Description

The EEM monitoring system has detected that the V12 master and slave ECU parameters are different.

Possible causes are:

  • A wrong software version in the master ECU.
  • A wrong software version in the slave ECU.

Reaction in EEM

The FC is stored and the warning lamp is activated. The CAN message indicates active fault.

Solution

First save the error log and then erase it. Restart the ECU after erasing the error log. If the fault occurs again, check the following paths:

  • Re-flash a correct software to the ECU’s.
