3.5.1. EGR actuator ( Exhaust Gas Recirculation)¶

Description

The actuator is used to drive the EGR rotary valve.

ECU connection

The EGR uses the CAN bus to communicate with the engine ECU. The power feed is the vehicle manufacturer’s responsibility.

The pin numbers at the ECU:

EDC17CV41+      2.18 CAN LOW
EDC17CV41+      2.17 CAN high

The EGR connection is shown in figure EGR Wiring.
